F-SERIES – A MAGNIFICENT FIESTA AT RATHINAM COLLEGE OF ARTS AND SCIENCE
The Department of Visual Communication and The Department of Costume Design & Fashion jointly organized The F-SERIES (Food, Fashion, Film) FIESTA 2024, which was held on 16 th March 2024 at 5 p.m. in Rathinam Grand Hall zealously. More than 5,000 students were participated in this splendid event.
Actress Andrea Jeremiah is an actress and Indian Playback singer, who works predominantly in many films and she made her debut playback singing in Anniyan. And Stephen Devassy, an Indian Musician and also known as “ Prince of Piano” were the celebrity guest of this magnificient event with eminent live Music Concert performed by them. Along with them Vj Siddhu and Harshath khan, a famous youtuber, entertainer and prank stars from Chennai, were also the celebrity guest of this fiesta who entertain all the folks enthusiastically.
Mrs. Shima Sendhil, Director – Rathinam, Group of Institutions, Dr. R. Manickam, CEO & Secretary, Rathinam Group of Institutions and Dr. Balasubramaniam, Principal, Rathinam College of Arts & Science presided over this glorious event wih their presence.
The event highlights include a
Short Film Contest conducted by The Department of Visual Communication and a
Fashion Parade conducted by The Department of Costume Design & Fashion and a food Carnival.
There are much more fun to delve. The total prize worth of Rs.50,000 ( Fifty thousand) has been awarded to the winners. The winners of the Short Film Contest are as mentioned below :
· First Prize - Thunai
· Second Prize – Poongatru Pudhidhanadhu
· Third Prize – Oru Dhum
· Fourth Prize – Thean Chittu Catering
· Fifth Prize – Oru Thallu Case
The Winners of the Fashion Parade are as mentioned below :
· First Prize - Bishop Appasamy College of Arts & Science, Coimbatore.
· Second Prize - Dream Zone, Coimbatore.
· Third Prize – SRM University, Chennai.
· Best Crazy Designer – Kongu College of Arts & Science, Erode.
· Best Catwalk – Nehru College of Arts & Science, Coimbatore.
