Challenge for Viscom Students in Filmmaking Within 24 Hours
Students from the Department of Visual Communication at Rathinam College
of Arts and Science in Coimbatore took part in a 24 Hours Film Making Challenge
to demonstrate their creativity and filmmaking abilities. On September 14, 2022, the
event took place at the Viscom Studio. The students worked hard for this challenge.
The competition required students from II yr Viscom & III yr Viscom to make short films Students from II yr Viscom and III yr Viscom were required to create short films based on a theme selected by the panel for the competition. The students had to finish the project in 24 hours, which presented a significant challenge.
The opposition saw the cooperation of 56 under graduates, who were anxious to grandstand their ability. Only two teams were able to finish their short films, despite the time constraints. Not with standing, every one of the members set forth their best amounts of energy and attempted their level best to complete their tasks.
The judges were impressed by the
students’ high quality of work. The mementos were given to the winners by the head
of the department at the competition’s conclusion. While receiving their awards, some
of the students shared their experiences on stage. The structure of the winning screenplays, which had to fall into one of two categories: The structure of the Rashomon and
the hyperlink screenplays.
Under Mr. Sathishanandan’ s direction, Assistant Professor Mr. T.J. Raju organized the event. To ensure that the event ran smoothly, the team had put in a lot of effort. Students and faculty members paid close attention to the competition, which was a huge success. The competition’s goal was to give the students a chance to show off their filmmaking skills and creativity. They were also able to improve their skills and gain valuable experience in a setting with a lot of competition. The event provided the students with an excellent opportunity to learn from one another and work together on projects.
The Branch of Visual Communication has consistently urged its under graduates to seek after their interests and succeed in their fields.
Generally, the 24Hrs Film Making Challenge was an exceptionally effective occasion that displayed the huge ability of the under graduates at the Branch of Visual
Communication. It was an extraordinary stage for the under graduates to level up
their abilities, team up with their companions, and gain important involvement with
a profoundly cutthroat climate. The occasion was a genuine demonstration of the division’s obligation to giving its under graduates the most ideal chances to prevail in
their professions.
